Welcome to Gloom Detail. These Terms and Conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of our website and services provided by Gloom Detail, located at 2880 Bloor Street West, Suite 305, Toronto, Ontario, M8X 1B8, Canada. By accessing this website and using our services, you accept these terms and conditions in full. 1. Definitions
- "Company" "We", "Our", "Us" refers to Gloom Detail.
 - "Client", "You", "Your" refers to you, the person accessing this website and accepting the Company’s terms and conditions.
 - "Services" refers to the automotive detailing services offered by Gloom Detail, including but not limited to premium interior and exterior detailing, paint correction, ceramic coating application, headlight restoration, engine bay cleaning, odor removal, scratch repair, and leather conditioning.
 - "Site" refers to our online platform, gloomdetail.ca.
 
2. Service Appointments and Cancellations
- All service appointments are subject to availability. We recommend booking in advance to secure your preferred time.
 - Clients are required to provide a minimum of 24 hours' notice for any appointment cancellation or rescheduling. Failure to do so may result in a cancellation fee.
 - Late arrivals may result in a reduced service time or rescheduling at the discretion of Gloom Detail, potentially incurring a penalty.
 
3. Pricing and Payments
- Prices for services are listed on our site or provided upon inquiry. Gloom Detail reserves the right to change pricing without prior notice.
 - Additional charges may apply for vehicles in excessively dirty condition, pet hair removal, or other conditions requiring extra time and materials, as determined by our technicians. These will be discussed with you prior to service commencement.
 - Payment is due upon completion of services. We accept various forms of payment, which will be communicated at the time of service.
 
4. Vehicle Condition & Liability
- Clients are responsible for removing all personal belongings and valuables from their vehicle prior to service. Gloom Detail is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items left inside the vehicle.
 - While we take utmost care, Gloom Detail is not liable for existing damage, defects, or wear and tear on your vehicle that may be exacerbated during the detailing process.
 - Paint correction and ceramic coating services involve specialized processes. While we strive for perfection, some deep scratches or imperfections may not be entirely removable. Results will be discussed and managed with realistic expectations.
 - Clients must inform us of any pre-existing conditions, modifications, or sensitive areas of their vehicle that require special attention or care.
 
5. Warranty and Guarantees
- Gloom Detail stands by the quality of our work. If you are not satisfied with the service provided, please notify us within 24 hours of completion. We will address any concerns promptly and reasonably.
 - Ceramic coatings typically come with a manufacturer's warranty, which will be explained at the time of service. Proper maintenance protocols must be followed by the client to maintain the validity of this warranty.
 
6. Use of Our Site
- By using our site, you agree not to use it for any unlawful purpose or in any way that violates these Terms and Conditions.
 - All content on our site, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of Gloom Detail and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or transmit any content without our express written permission.
 
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Gloom Detail shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (a) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the services; (b) any conduct or content of any third party on the services; (c) any content obtained from the services; and (d) unauthorized access, use or alteration of your transmissions or content, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence) or any other legal theory, whether or not we have been informed of the possibility of such damage, and even if a remedy set forth herein is found to have failed of its essential purpose.
8. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
9. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms and Conditions at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
